 Sunkist
Country Club was established in 1953, making it one of the original golf
destinations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Conveniently located near all area
attractions, Sunkist is one of the most popular courses to play in the area.
This beautifully manicured course measures up to 6400 yards with three sets of
tees. Sand and water come in to play on 13 holes, ensuring a pleasant
experience for any skill level. Reasonably priced memberships are available at
this semi-private facility. Amenities include: Privileged tee times, practice
facilities, cart and club storage, swimming and club activities throughout the
year.
A Roland "Robby" Robertson designed course. This course was built on rolling terrain. In addition, the narrow fairways are lined with many mature trees, and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The signature hole is #14, 120-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to an elevated green. Sunkist measures 6,081 yards from the tips. Slope Rating 117.
